This year’s winner is Sherrie Langley with the Department of Health and Wellness.
Sherrie has made a significant contribution to strengthening the nursing workforce in Prince Edward Island. As Principal Nursing Advisor with the Department of Health and Wellness, Sherrie has shown exceptional leadership in the design and implementation of two provincial initiatives that support the integration of internationally educated nurses into PEI’s health system. Through collaboration with multiple organizations and agencies, partnership development, and her own hands-on commitment, Sherrie’s leadership has delivered solutions and measurable workforce outcomes that positively impact our nurses, our health system, and Islanders.
