Strategies for Leading Respectful Workplace Cultures

Audience:     Supervisors, Managers, Senior Executives and Leaders

A respectful workplace is the pillar to a healthy and productive organization where leaders set the tone. Employees look to their leaders to determine what is acceptable behavior and what is not. Therefore, leaders who show up and take the lead in nurturing a respectful workplace culture are the ones who enjoy the benefits that come along with a respectful and civil workplace. This workshop explores the components of respect and addresses individual responsibilities within the work environment.
Participants will discover ideas for dealing with incivility and disrespectful behaviors in the workplace and learn new strategies for nurturing healthy and respectful workplace cultures.

Objectives:
-    Discuss and define respect and civility in the workplace.
-    Review characteristics of a civil, respectful and healthy workplace.
-    Explain how diversity and inclusion play into civility and respect in the workplace.
-    Examine the costs of incivility in the workplace.
-    Introduce best practices for advancing civility and respect in the workplace.
