Course Overview and Learning Objectives: 
•    An overview of key historical events and policies that have shaped social and power structures in Canada around gender and sexual identity.
•    An overview of intersectionality and how applied categories such as race, Indigeneity, disability, gender, sexual orientation, and class interconnect and result in overlapping experiences of discrimination and disadvantage.
•    An overview of the current language associated with the diversity of gender and sexuality and cultural contexts.
•    Better identify strategies for supporting 2SLGBTQIA+ inclusivity, both personally and professionally.
