Policy Lens Series: Gender and Diversity Analysis (GDA) Worksheet

Length:        Half day session
Audience:   All employees

In this course, participants will learn how to complete a Gender and Diversity Analysis (GDA). A GDA is a valuable analytic, evidence-based tool that provides the means to assess how diverse groups of people may experience or be impacted by a government policy, program, or initiative.
 

Learning Outcomes:
•    Knows what tools are available and how to use them
•    Understands the difference between equity vs. equality and can apply that knowledge
•    Understands intersectionality and can apply that knowledge
•    Knows how to identify potential differential impacts of a policy/program/service on equity-deserving groups
•    Knows how to present recommendations that result in more equitable policy/program/service outcomes
