Mental Health Fundamentals - New Era Learning

In today’s work environment, performance and wellness go hand in hand. People leaders need to be equipped with the skills to recognize and  support mental health issues within their organization.

In this course, learners will explore the spectrum between mental wellness and mental illness as well as learn key skills to build strong connections with their teams. Learners will also learn about the dangers of mental health stigma from both a personal and organizational perspective, as well as the resources they can leverage to support their teams in times of need.

Learning Outcomes:
- Identify the five pillars of well-being and the strategies for upholding them;
- Explain the Mental Health Continuum and how it can be used to support your team;
- Explain the negative consequences of stigma;
- Outline a strategy for connecting with someone who is struggling.
