A key component of the labour relations contract that the Public Service Commission has with Cox & Palmer is providing training to management staff. Civil Service Directors, Managers and Supervisors are encouraged to register for the courses being offered in 2018/2019  as the information presented will be helpful to you as you navigate through labour relations and human resource matters:

Tuesday, December 4, 2018 - 8:30 a.m. – 12 noon - Murchison Centre, 17 St Pius X Ave, Charlottetown
This course will examine how employers can manage employees’ social media use as it relates to the workplace, and will provide an over view of relevant workplace policies. The course will also discuss the limits of an employee’s expression of public criticism and provide guidelines for disciplining employees’ off-duty social media conduct.

Please note, employees must request permission to attend these sessions from the person they report to in advance of registering. Following an employee’s registration, the employee will receive an email confirmation.
