Leadership and Management Training

Leaders in Action Pathway - 18-24 months

The Public Service Commission, with oversight from the Deputy Minister Council (DMC), has designated resources for Leaders in Action Pathway, a management training program for a diverse cohort of 24 employees from across government interested in assuming a senior leadership role and position in the civil service. A corporate HR planner administers and coordinates the program. Applicants are selected based on corporate evaluation criteria.

Leaders in Action Pathway participants commit to attending learning sessions one or two days each month over 18-24 months and complete about five hours of personal training each month. In addition, each candidate must complete a personal learning plan and actively participate in a corporate project determined by senior leadership.

Facilitator(s): Internal and external subject experts (public and private sector) deliver learning sessions and support corporate projects.
