This introductory course provides employees with a basic understanding of the importance of reporting workplace incidents, injuries, and near misses. Participants will learn what types of events should be reported, when and how to report them, and the role that timely reporting plays in preventing future incidents and maintaining a safe workplace.
The course emphasizes individual responsibility, the reporting process, and how incident information is used to identify hazards, improve safety practices, and support the health and well-being of all employees. By understanding the reporting requirements, employees can will be prepared in the event an incident occurs and be confident in the processes associated with reporting of workplace incidents.
