This session will provide Government of Prince Edward Island managers and supervisors, both new and experienced, with an overview of information and tools to be an effective member of management. Topics that will be discussed in this course include an overview of managing relations in a unionized environment, an overview of the laws, rights, and obligations embedded in the Collective Agreement, performance management strategies, managing and applying discipline, and an overview of the grievance process.
