Café de Paris is a workplace initiative, in partnership with the Collège de l’Île and Réseau Santé en français Î.-P.-É., designed to support employees wishing to acquire or maintain proficiency in French during one-on-one sessions with an instructor. The approach is adapted to the specific employee’s linguistic levels and interests. There is no cost to the employee to participate.
For Civil Service employees, the program takes place at the following two locations:
Charlottetown: Mondays from 9 am to 12 pm at the Zax Cafe boardroom, PAB complex
Summerside: Tuesdays from 1 - 4 pm at the Holman Building, Department of Education, Room #141 (Room 213 on November 19)
The sessions are 30 minutes and they will run until the end of March. This program has a high participation rate. The number of sessions could be limited to give priority to employees who have not participated yet.
