The Public Service Commission, in partnership with the Acadian and Francophone Affairs Secretariat, is pleased to announce the relaunch of the Bonjour Program, now featuring a refreshed logo, updated materials for Civil Service employees, and enhanced training to support bilingual service delivery.
The Bonjour Program aims to equip bilingual employees with the knowledge and tools to offer French-language services. With clear signage and cues, the Bonjour Program makes it easy for the public to know when they can receive service in either English or French.
Bonjour Program signage and materials will be available to:
• Employees in designated bilingual positions
• Employees who can provide services in English and French with comparable proficiency in both languages
• Supervisors and Managers working in areas where French services are available
There are two ways to receive Bonjour Program materials:
• Email frenchlanguagetraining@gov.pe.ca to have them sent to you
• Contact your department HR representative
As part of the French Language Training Incentive Program for civil service employees, eligible individuals who complete the Bonjour Program training in Moodle, will receive a Bonjour laptop backpack and lunch bag. By participating in the training, you are helping to strengthen the active offer of French-language services across government. To receive your items, please send a copy of your Bonjour Program Training certificate to frenchlanguagetraining@gov.pe.ca.
