Supervisor Safety Data Sheet (SDS) Training

This session is intended for supervisors and management to assist with understanding their obligations under the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Regulations of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHS Act).  Participants will learn ways to provide site-specific safety data sheet (SDS) workplace training for employees, employee knowledge evaluation, training records and program annual review. This session will also include a brief refresher of the main components of WHMIS 2015, a review of the SDSs, follow procedures for the safe use, handling, storage & disposal of hazardous products, personal protective equipment and emergency procedures.
