This introductory course helps employees develop a basic understanding of how to recognize workplace hazards and assess potential risks before incidents occur. Participants will learn the difference between a hazard and a risk, explore common workplace hazards, and gain practical skills for identifying unsafe conditions and behaviors.
The course emphasizes the importance of situational awareness, reporting hazards, and taking an active role in maintaining a safe and healthy workplace. By increasing risk perception and hazard recognition skills, employees will be better equipped to make safe decisions and contribute to a positive workplace safety culture.
