This session will provide education on the key components of the WHMIS 2015 Regulations and how to apply them in the workplace. The goal is to ensure everyone has the knowledge they need to work safely with hazardous products. Participants will learn how to access and understand hazard information for the materials used at their work sites, identify potential risks, and choose safe practices when handling hazardous products. The session will also cover how to read and use Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) and understand their purpose. In addition, participants will gain knowledge on first aid measures and emergency preparedness to support an effective response to hazardous material exposures in the workplace.
