This workshop will equip participants with tools and techniques to conduct policy research and analysis, gather evidence, and translate findings into options for decision-makers. Participants will gain experience in different types of approaches to research and analysis, as well as explore available evidence within the GPEI context.
Objectives:
- Overview of research and analysis tools and when each is appropriate.
- Learn how to use the different tools and associated resources.
- Translating analysis into options for decision-makers.
Applications in the Workplace:
- Review tools and techniques of policy research and analysis
- Accessing the best available evidence
- Build linkages between research and analysis, planning and evaluation
- Generating options and communicating to decision-makers
