This session is designed for safety committee representatives or committee members, managers and supervisors. The session will review the basic components of hazardous materials in the workplace such as asbestos, lead paint and mercury associated health effects and occupational health and safety legislation responsibilities. Methods of determining hazardous materials, following a maintenance plan and educating employees on hazardous materials will be reviewed. This session will be presented by PSC Employee Wellness & Safety staff.
